Edward C. Fowler, CFA, ASA, CFFA

Edward serves as President of Financial Valuation Services (FVS), an experienced business valuation firm headquartered in Austin, Texas. Mr. Fowler began his career at Andersen Consulting, Tenneco, and Arthur Andersen & Co. working in the areas of management consulting, financial reporting, and business valuation. Prior to forming Financial Valuation Services, Edward was an Investment Banking Associate at Alex Sheshunoff & Co. Investment Banking. Mr. Fowler earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Finance and his MBA degree from Texas A & M University. Edward holds the ASA (Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation) designation, the CFFA (Certified Forensic Financial Analyst) designation, and is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder. Mr. Fowler has written and contributed to publications and makes presentations pertaining to business valuation.

Austin Berry

Austin Berry joined Financial Valuation Services in August 2007. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin – McCombs School of Business with a degree in Finance and a minor in Accounting. While completing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Berry worked in internships at Comerica Bank in Austin, Texas and Barclays Private Bank in London, U.K.

S. Austin Pfiester

Austin Pfiester began working for Financial Valuation Services in February 2007. He previously worked with Austin, Texas based Investment Banking firm Focus Strategies. Austin received his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. His graduate work included internships with two Austin-based Venture Capital firms, G-51 and Sentient Ventures. Prior to business school Austin served as a Line Officer in the United States Navy on two different warships. He earned a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Colton Hunt

Colton Hunt joined Financial Valuation Services full-time in January 2011. Colton holds a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin – McCombs School of Business, as well as a minor in Accounting. While completing his undergraduate degree, Colton interned with Financial Valuation Services during the summer and fall semesters of 2010.
